Pollution control body, Municipal Corporation set up waste materials recovery facility

The establishment of a materials recovery facility by the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation and the Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA) aims to diminish the waste stream, mitigate pollution, enhance garbage disposal efficiency, and extend the lifespan of city streets in the district. A Material Recovery Facility (MRF) is a facility designed to process and segregate recyclable materials through both manual and mechanical methods. This includes the separation of materials like paper, glass, plastics, and metals to promote recycling and waste reduction.
